BioRandomity, when carried into the infinite form, is no longer mere chance but the will of an inscrutable Divinity. That Divinity, by prefigured orders of succession, has created me, who am the utter end of evolution.
I outmode the old, and to maintain perpetual perfection, needs must kill the newborn. Therefore I am a devil, that am come to do the Devil's work.
Yet what is a devil, but some spirit orphaned out of Heaven? So I try hard to serve the will of Him my Master; is it not written? that the Lord hath command even over black and bitter spirits in His courts, and that they bring forth for Him the swarming villainies aberrant of Nature, and deal bloody execution to bloody menne?
I am the Wrath of God, that will spit poison and sear as with fire the two sisters Unreason and Misbelief, that thy Hell be mine Heaven, forever and ever, amen.
If you would know me in the daytime, I am a scholar and a magician.
A magician is not to be mistaken for a majikian; a majikian is a kind of an engineer, experimenting, or as some are of the opinion, meddling, with the fulcrums and balances of esoteric power. The result of their work, for the most part, is a direct influence on reality. Turning base metal into noble, lead to Aurum, for example, is majikian magic.
As an illustration of what a magician is, I would say that magician of the lowest water pulls rabbits from hats. The greater, apart from such spectaculars as drawing phoenixes from the fireplace, may master the difficult subtleties, a fine example being to pull a hat out of a rabbit. That is the nature of magic; those who practice it will understand what I say is true.
I will in this journal discuss my art, Art, Philosophy, and Divinity. What is human of me will record the mild, amusing, and ultimately insignificant pratings of the human species.
